This global ecosystem, based in Texas (USA), aims to scale the energy transition through innovation and technology strategies.
As part of our mission to lead the technological evolution of electricity grids and enable an energy transition towards a sustainable model, and together with our Open Innovation strategy to achieve alliances with new start-ups and technology providers to promote competitiveness, the addition of new technologies and the strengthening of our internal innovation ecosystem, Ormazabal has taken a firm step forward by joining, as founding partners, the EnergyTech Nexus fund. This fund, based in Houston (Texas – USA), serves as one of the main meeting points for innovation and technology in the field of energy transition.
Thus, within EnergyTech Nexus there are different types of companies, both corporations and startups and sector leaders in areas such as energy, industry, finance and professional services. Agents that seek to promote collaborations to scale the energy transition of our society through strategies and collaborations based on innovation and technology. Thus, this hub becomes a great opportunity to facilitate and accelerate the commercialization of solutions, as well as the development of new pilot projects and new opportunities in global markets related to emerging energy technologies.
